Who is Alexandra?
Alexandra is an Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Associate Licensed
Professional Clinical Counselor that utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy in order to
custom tailor services to each client and create the highest quality of care. Alexandra
often incorporates use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment
Therapy and Structural/Bowenian Family Therapy as framework when conceptualizing
clients and in assisting them to meet their goals. It is important to Alexandra to view the
person as a whole and approach their needs on the individual, family employment,
religious and community level in order to facilitate the progress that is desired.

Education Background

Alexandra graduated with a Master of Arts degree from Pepperdine University with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Alexandra attended Iona College (New Rochelle, New York) for her Undergraduate degree where she received an Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and a Minor of Arts in English and Fine and Performing Arts. 

Clinical Experience
Alexandra has provided therapy to children, adolescents and adults in settings such as Outpatient Services, In Home/Community Based Services, Residential Services, WRAP Around Services and School-Based Services in various areas of LA County. During her work in these locations Alexandra’s work has displayed a full spectrum of clients in regards to their age and allowed her to engage in individual/family therapy along with case management needed to properly assist client to meet their goals. Specializations include Trauma Work, Foster Care, Birth to Five Services, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Play and Art Therapy based interventions, Group Therapy and Multigenerational Transmission of Trauma.
