Who is Alexandra?
Alexandra is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Associate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor that utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy to custom tailor services to each client and create the highest quality of care. Alexandra often incorporates the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Structural/Bowenian Family Therapy as a framework when conceptualizing clients and in assisting them to meet their goals. Alexandra values viewing the person as a whole and approach their needs on the individual, family employment, religious, and community level to facilitate the progress that is desired.
Alexandra graduated with a Master of Arts degree from Pepperdine University with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Alexandra attended Iona College (New Rochelle, New York) where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Minor of Arts in English and Fine and Performing Arts.
Alexandra has provided therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in settings such as Outpatient Services, In-Home/Community Based Services, Residential Services, WRAP Around Services, and School-Based Services in various areas of LA County. During her work in these locations, Alexandra’s work has displayed a full spectrum of clients in regards to their age and allowed her to engage in individual/family therapy along with case management needed to properly assist a client to meet their goals. Specializations include Trauma Work, Foster Care, Birth to Five Services, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Play and Art Therapy based interventions, Group Therapy, and Multigenerational Transmission of Trauma.
