Annabelle Patton, MA
Supervised Pre-doctoral Clinician
Annabelle Patton is Pre-doctoral Clinical Trainee from Rosemead School of Psychology. She is passionate about fostering a collaborative environment built on a foundation of empathy, compassion, and genuine human connection where clients feel they can openly share, heal, grow, and continue their pursuit of well-being. Annabelle utilizes a holistic approach to treatment, taking into consideration biological, physiological, environmental, social, and emotional factors on our overall health, but particularly as it relates to psychological well-being. Her approach to psychotherapy is multidisciplinary, drawing from attachment theory, relational and psychodynamic principles, and other evidence-based modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Additionally, Annabelle implements somatic and trauma-informed practices in treatment.
Outside of the therapy room, she has contributed to psychological research in the areas of attachment, trauma, and the integration of psychology and spirituality.
Clinical Experience:
Annabelle's clinical training includes conducting individual therapy with emerging adults/adults and psychological assessment with adolescents and adults. Annabelle has treated adults experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, grief, and phase of life problems. She holds a special interest in psychological assessment, in which she hopes to help formulate comprehensive understandings of individuals’ psychological functioning and guide diagnoses, treatment planning, and interventions. Annabelle also previously worked as Behavioral Technician conducting ABA therapy sessions with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Annabelle’s aspiration is to pursue Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy on her own mental health farm after finishing school.
