There are many reasons our clients choose to pay privately for care, including keeping medical records private, needing an income-based fee-reduction (i.e., sliding scale), or to avoid the hassle of dealing with insurance coverage, denials, or preauthorizations.

We know how crucial in-network benefits are for many, and despite the significant challenges of working with private insurance, we've dedicated ourselves to working with some of the largest insurance plans in California. All of our mental health providers are in-network providers for most Anthem Blue Cross and Aetna HMO and PPO mental health benefit plans.

If you have a PPO insurance plan, you have the freedom to select any therapist of your choice based on their specific expertise and your connection with them. Because you are not limited to in-network providers, finding the right mental health care is in your hands. If you have a PPO policy through Blue Shield of California, Health Net, United Healthcare, Beacon, etc. you may be eligible for a significant fee-reduction through your insurer via direct reimbursement. Don't let a therapist being "out-of-network" stop you from getting the care you deserve.
