Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Seeking a passionate, empathic, self-reflective, and growth-oriented licensed psychologist for a hybrid position on our clinical mental health team! Established in 1991 by Dr. Andrea Davis, Greenhouse Therapy Center in Pasadena, CA is a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals and body-based clinicians committed to partnering with children, adults, parents, couples, and families to support them with the struggles they face while honoring their individual differences, strengths, and needs. We rely on team-based care and cutting edge advancements in developmental psychology, attachment theory, and interpersonal neurobiology to cultivate healing and growth in our clients so that they can find more peace, joy, meaning, creativity, and connection in their lives.

With this in mind, we strongly favor treatment approaches and training experiences that prioritize developmental, individually-tailored, relationship-based methods of support.

We are seeking a licensed psychologist (PhD, PsyD) who:

  • Shares our commitment to equity, justice, and access to high-quality mental health care, including clients who require in-network providers

  • Approaches therapy from a developmental, relational, and/or neurobiological perspective in order to treat the whole person 

  • Seeks to work in a flexible, collaborative/team environment and is committed to continued growth as a therapist

  • Demonstrates outstanding clinical effectiveness

  • Possesses outstanding interpersonal skills of attunement, self-awareness, and self-regulation

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience providing specialized services in one or more of the following:  

    • Developmental, relational, attachment-based approaches to therapy

    • Trauma-informed therapies (e.g., EMDR, Havening, Cognitive Processing, Somatic Experiencing)

    • Children/adolescents 

    • Art/Music/Movement therapy

    • Play therapy

    • Neurofeedback

    • LGBTQIA+ affirming care

    • Couples therapy, family therapy, parenting guidance

    • Therapy for neurodiverse clients (especially DIR/Floortime-informed therapy)

    • Supervision for MA-level Associate therapists, doctoral pre-interns, and/or post-doctoral fellows

  • Demonstrate outstanding administrative/organizational skills

  • Be able to provide both in-person and telehealth services

  • Be able to provide client-facing services after work/after school and on weekends

  • Demonstrate passion and initiative for innovating new programs, outreaches, and approaches to serving our community & clientele

What we expect from you:

  • Commit to 15-25 client-facing hours per week

  • Commit to an additional 3-6 paid hours per week (proportionate to your client-facing hours) to participate in case collaboration, internal trainings, team meetings, record-keeping, and other administrative duties as necessary

  • Maintain prompt and effective communication with executive, administrative, and insurance billing teams

  • Maintain confidential and thorough client records

  • Availability to work hybrid in the afternoons and/or evenings

Compensation - Full-time clinical psychologists receive (25 client-facing hours, 5-6 administrative hours):

  • $88.75-120/hour for direct clinical services based upon qualifications and experience 

  • $150-175/hour for supervising an Associate

  • Medical/dental/vision benefits (candidates choose from a selection of PPO and HMO plans; employer pays a portion of the employee’s monthly premium)

  • 401K plan with employer matching for your contribution, up to 4% of pay (upon reaching 1,000 hours in one year)
