Helen Jiang

Helen is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to creating a safe and empowering space for her clients. She offers warmth, empathy, and non-judgement in supporting clients through their journeys of introspection, self-compassion, and personal fulfillment. Helen believes in working collaboratively from a client-centered approach to promote autonomy and self-acceptance. She is committed to building strong therapeutic relationships to set the foundation for trust and a sense of belonging.

Helen comes from a Chinese American background, which informs her practice to consider culture, inter-generational trauma, and family systems when working with a diversity of clients. Helen understands the ongoing stigma surrounding the topic of mental health, and will meet clients where they are at in their healing by increasing self-esteem and reducing shame.

She is passionate about helping clients reach their full potential and improve their quality of life. In creating an affirmative space for growth and learning, Helen will walk alongside clients as they encounter difficulties, overcome challenges, and discover their strengths to enhance their sense of well-being authentically.

Helen received her M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family therapy at Azusa Pacific University and her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Education from Occidental College.

Helen has worked with youth (ages 2-18) and their families across various settings. Helen provided school-based mental health services to students during her clinical practicum, and has prior experience working with children and families in other academic, clinical, and recreational settings.
