Licensed Clinical Psychologist Supervisor

Seeking a curious, empathic, self-reflective, and growth-oriented licensed psychologist for a hybrid position on our clinical mental health team! Established in 1991 by Dr. Andrea Davis, Greenhouse Therapy Center in Pasadena, CA is a multidisciplinary team of mental health and OT professionals committed to partnering with children, adults, parents, couples, and families to support them with the struggles they face while honoring their individual differences, strengths, and needs. We rely on team-based care and cutting edge advancements in developmental psychology, attachment theory, and interpersonal neurobiology to cultivate healing and growth in our clients so that they can find more peace, joy, meaning, creativity, and connection in their lives.

We are seeking a licensed psychologist (PhD, PsyD) supervisor who:

  • Approaches therapy from a developmental, relational, and/or neurobiological perspective in order to treat the whole person

  • Seeks to work in a flexible, collaborative/team environment and is committed to continued growth as a therapist

  • Possesses outstanding interpersonal skills of attunement, self-awareness, and self-regulation

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience providing supervision for MA-level Associate therapists, doctoral pre-interns, and/or post-doctoral fellows as well as specialized services including one or more of the following:   

    • Developmental, relational, attachment-based approaches to therapy (required)

    • Child play-based therapy and parent coaching (required)

    • Trauma-informed therapies (e.g., EMDR, Havening, Cognitive Processing, Somatic Experiencing)

    • Art/Music/Movement therapy

    • Neurofeedback

    • LGBTQIA+ affirming care

    • Couples therapy, family therapy, parenting guidance

    • Therapy for neurodiverse clients (especially DIR/Floortime-informed therapy)

  • Demonstrate outstanding administrative/organizational skills

  • Be open to growing in your leadership role with Greenhouse Therapy Center as our practice expands

What we expect from you:

  • Maintain a caseload of 5-10 clients per week (optional)

  • Participate actively in case collaboration, regular internal trainings, team meetings, record-keeping, and other administrative duties as necessary

  • Supervise up to 6 associate or pre-licensed clinicians (Psychological Associates, post-doctoral fellows, ACSWs, AMFTs, APCCs, and/or pre-doctoral psychology trainees) in accordance with the guidelines and limits set forth by the Board of Psychology and the Board of Behavioral Sciences

  • Conduct collaborative review of each supervisee’s recorded or live sessions at least monthly and collaborative performance discussions quarterly.

  • Maintain prompt and effective communication with executive, administrative, and insurance billing teams

  • Maintain confidential, timely, and complete client records

Compensation - Clinical psychologists receive:

  • $88.75-120/hour for direct clinical services based upon qualifications and experience

  • $130-150/hour for supervising an Associate

Full-time employees (27 total hours worked including client hours, supervision hours, participation in meetings, administrative work and documentation time) receive:

  • Medical/dental/vision benefits (candidates choose from a selection of PPO and HMO plans; employer pays a portion of the employee’s monthly premium)

  • 401K plan with employer matching for your contribution, up to 4% of pay (upon reaching 1,000 hours in one year)
