Negar Siadatnejad, MA

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
California Board of Behavioral Sciences

Negar (she/her) is a depth-oriented, psychodynamic therapist who believes healing unfolds within safe, attuned relationships where one’s inner world can be received with care and understanding. She is passionate about supporting children, teens, young adults—as well as their families—and has a particular interest in working with those who struggle with feelings of belonging, whether in their relationships, communities, or within themselves.

Her commitment to relational work was shaped by early experiences working with children, where she witnessed how presence, responsiveness, and authentic connection form the foundation for growth and emotional well-being. She views play as a child’s natural language and a doorway into their inner world. In therapy, play becomes a safe space where children can express and process fears, desires, and challenges they may not yet have words for.

Informed by her studies at Pacifica Graduate Institute, Negar also works with individuals to explore unconscious layers of the mind, uncover hidden emotions, and recognize patterns that shape behavior and relationships. She integrates developmental, trauma-informed, and neurobiological approaches, while drawing on mindfulness practices to support clients in slowing down, turning inward, and reconnecting with their inner life. Grounded in attachment theory and the lasting impact of early relational experiences, her work invites clients of all ages to cultivate resilience, deepen self-understanding, and develop more authentic ways of connecting with themselves and others.

Clinical Experience:
Negar’s clinical experience includes working with adolescents and adults in a community-based private practice model, as well as supporting former foster youth who have experienced multiple disruptions in caregiving. She is passionate about providing relationally attuned care, helping clients navigate anxiety, panic, depression, childhood trauma, life transitions, eating disorders, and challenges with self-worth and expressing their emotions.
