Dr. Sarah Holguin (she/her) is an occupational therapy practitioner dedicated to supporting children, teens, adults, and families through compassionate, strengths-based approach. With a background in pediatric occupational therapy, she has experience working with children who have Autism, ADHD, sensory processing challenges, and emotional or behavioral regulation needs. Dr. Sarah provides comprehensive Occupational Therapy and Sensory Assessments, helping to identify each child's unique strengths and areas for growth. Her therapeutic philosophy centers on providing nurturing, responsive environments that help patients feel safe, confident, and understood. She draws from evidence-based approaches such as Sensory Integration Therapy, DIR / Floortime, and play therapy to support emotional regulation, effective communication, and engagement. Her sessions often incorporate parent / guardian coaching and environmental strategies to address challenges such as tantrums, meltdowns, or aggression in a supportive and practical way.

Clinical Experience:
Dr. Sarah is an occupational therapy professional with clinical experience across inpatient, outpatient, and school-based settings. She completed her Level II Fieldwork at Adventist Health Glendale in inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient neurology, supporting adults recovering from neurological injuries and complex medical conditions. She also completed a Level II Fieldwork placement with Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), working with students ages 3-22 to promote participation, learning, and engagement in educational settings.
